Barbara loves the idea of someone using her pottery in their daily lives, and strives to make each piece truly functional. She is skilled at using underglazes and other decoration, and shares this through the workshops and classes she teaches. Mainly self-taught, she finds much of her inspiration in the beautiful west coast scenery that surrounds Vancouver Island. Her work is available at The Station Gallery, Guild Sales and at Pyromania Pottery Gallery in Coombs. BC.
